TWO second half goals by Kobe Lee and club newcomer Marko Chau in a lively Premier League match at the new Hay Park facility last Sunday propelled Dynamos up into second spot on the South West Soccer Association points table.
The two goal victory closed the gap to one game at the top of the points ladder with Hay Park still in front followed by Dynamos, Dalyellup Rangers, champions Bunbury United, Dunsborough, Busselton and Australind.
Across the fence on the Soccerdrome pitch a tough, physical clash finished in a 1-all draw with United’s Seb Bell and Dalyellup’s Paul Madondo trading goals.
The action was hot from the start with Bunbury goalkeeper Blaze Rosinski diving to his left to make a reflex save from Madondo in the first minute with pacy Seb Bell slipping in the first goal for United from a corner kick just three minutes later.
That sole goal stood firm for the first 40 minutes until half time with rangy speedster Madondo emulating Bell’s feat with a goal for Dalyellyp just two minutes from resumption.
Both goalkeepers were stand-outs on the day with Dalyellup’s best Nathan Stacey matching Madondo and skipper Grant Calvert against Rosinski, Ryan Risdon and Graeme Millington.
On Sunday Bunbury United entertain former premiers Busselton at the Soccerdrome, Dalyellup are at home to wooden spooners Australind while Dynamos travel to Dunsborough with Hay Park on a bye.
